The border is a magnification of Xenopus
laevis sperm stained with a dye called coomassie blue. It's
difficult to see from the border, but Xenopus sperm have
corkscrew-shaped heads. Also known as the African Clawed frog, this
amphibian is commonly used for developmental and cell signal
transduction studies. The external fertilization large oocytes
produced by the females are ideal. Some of cell signaling studies
