Professional Interests:
The focus of my research is to find the link between the non-specific immune response observed around parturition and the development of metabolic disease. For this objective, my focus has been on the liver and adipose tissue. I am also interested in how the diet or plane of nutrition before parturition may affect the inflammatory response.
